Job Description Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a GenAI Portfolio Manager , for a W2 contract opportunity with one of our largest clients! This is a W2 contract opportunity, and the candidates should be willing to work on our W2 ONLY, NO C2C. GenAI Portfolio Manager Location: Charlotte, NC Type: W2 Contract – 9-month contract Work Schedule: Onsite-Hybrid, standard working hours. Schedule: 3 days in office Required Technical Skills: Enterprise program and portfolio management Scaled Agile / Release Train Engineering (SAFe or similar) Dependency and risk management Financial and capacity tracking (desirable) Delivery governance and reporting tools (Jira, Planview, MS Project, etc.) The GenAI Portfolio Manager oversees the integrated delivery of multiple GenAI initiatives across the enterprise. This role provides centralized coordination, dependency management, and risk oversight to ensure GenAI programs deliver on time, within scope, and aligned to strategic priorities. The role is accountable for portfolio level transparency, release alignment, and delivery discipline across teams. Key Responsibilities (R&R) Manage the end to end GenAI portfolio across concurrent initiatives. Develop and maintain integrated delivery and release plans. Coordinate cross initiative dependencies, milestones, and critical paths. Identify risks, issues, and delivery bottlenecks early and drive mitigation plans. Facilitate portfolio governance forums and leadership reviews. Track delivery commitments and hold action owners accountable. Partner with Product, Architecture, Engineering, and Risk teams on sequencing and prioritization. Support release train or scaled delivery models where applicable. Key Deliverables GenAI portfolio roadmap and integrated release plans Dependency maps and risk registers Portfolio dashboards (status, milestones, risks, dependencies) Executive delivery summaries and decision packs Remediation and recovery plans for at risk initiatives Required Competencies Strong execution and delivery discipline Proactive risk identification and problem solving Ability to influence without direct authority Structured communication with senior leadership Comfort operating in complex, multi stakeholder environments “Beware of scams.
