Administrative Associate II

The position provides clerical services for the facility and
will compose correspondence with little or no instruction, process
and act on confidential information, contact staff for meetings,
and disburse information. This position responsibilities also
the primary back up for all Trust Fund and Accounting functions
at the facility.
Position receives and verifies staff timesheets and completes
Beacon time entries.
Position will answer main facility phone line.
The position requires frequent public contact through placing
and receiving telephone calls and receiving visitors.
Telephone calls and visits will include contact from facility or
other Departmental staff, contact with other agencies, vendors and
service providers, offender family members, the general public and
Public contact will be on a daily basis for this position and
will typically involve scheduling appointments, providing
information, following up on inquiries and requesting services.
Responsible for a variety of records and reports in both
electronic and hard copy format and arrangement of correspondence,
forms, records, and reports in an appropriate filing system for
each particular subject and will be maintained in an organized and
easily retrievable manner under any situation.
The administrative files must be monitored and modified
constantly to ensure compliance with availability and Records

independently and may be called upon to enhance more complex
reports developed through work groups and committee meetings.
Uses personal computer with a variety of software programs to
compose correspondence, reports, statements, and graphs and to
update reports, research information, print reports, design or
revise forms, and independently composes handwritten and machine
dictated materials into electronic format.
- Receives incoming and outgoing mail and documents involved in
the Administrative Section, forwards incoming mail appropriately,
and ensures outgoing mail is addressed, mailed and routed
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) withState
Benefits. Work hours are Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.

The salary grade for this position is GN05, Salary Range:
$31,200 $44,091. State employees are encouraged to apply for
positions of interest even if the salary grade is the same as, or
lower than, their current position. If selected for this position,
a new salary will be recalculated taking into consideration the
quantity of relevant education and experience, funding
availability, and internal equity. Based upon these factors, a pay
increase MAY result.

females, housing 136 offenders, with 56 employees. We house

To qualify for this position, applicants must document on the
