Job Title: Professional Engineer, Water Resources

Location: Gastonia, NC

Type: Full-Time

Join our team as a Professional Engineer (PE) in our Water Resources Division. Our Project Managers have a fair mix of design responsibilities, client relationship, and junior staff mentorship. A role that provides our engineers a path to become leaders and/or technical experts.

• Lead the evaluation and/or support of existing service area utility assets and develop corresponding recommendations for rehabilitation or replacement
• Provide support in the design of the rehabilitation or replacement of water and wastewater pumping stations and treatment plant assets
• Monitor performance and adherence to plans and specifications during the construction phase. Assistwith submittal reviews, requests for information, correspondence, change requests, and change orders.
• Coordinate and assist with environmental studies, permitting, alternative analysis, and other technical deliverables
• Support and mentor junior staff through design consultation and QA/QC measures
  Job Requirements
  
  Qualifications may include;
  • BS of Civil Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of NC
  • Water and Wastewater Design experience is required
  • 5+ years' experience in civil water design
