Whether you want to lead more, innovate more, learn more or create more, you can find your more with Mohawk.Primary ObjectiveUnload and load materials using various industrial powered trucks and accurately entering the appropriate information into the computer systems, all within the allotted time frame.Major Functions And Scope* Complies with all company safety rules and procedures* Operates forklift, loads and unloads trucks, moves materials as necessary to support operations* Performs general PC functions (i.e. receiving & staging of raw materials for production) using SAP, Locus, Shop Floor and other material handling applications* Operates forklift, stages materials for production, unloads trucks, generates shipping notes for satellite facilities* Bands scrap material, executes general house cleaning duties* Performs other duties as assigned by managementKnowledge, Experience, And Competencies* High School Diploma or equivalent experience* Achieves minimum acceptable levels on Work Keys assessment tests for Applied Mathematics, Applied Technology, Locating Information and Reading for Information* Forklift experience: must be able to safely and efficiently operate 12,000 lb forklifts with ability to use lifts up to 20,000 lbs, as well as a clamp truck.* Basic PC skills for data entry and familiar with use of email* Basic arithmetic skills* Good attention to detail* Ability to communicate effectively, productively and professionally with team members, other departments, and external drivers* Must be able to work independently, without constant supervision* Excellent attendance, including punctuality, requiredOther Pertinent Job Information* Full-time position: Rotating Night Shift from 6pm - 6am, with ability to be flexible with scheduled hours and work overtime on occasion as required by business needs.* Must be capable of lifting up to 40lbs.Mohawk Industries is a leading global flooring manufacturer that creates products to enhance residential and commercial spaces around the world.
