Our Transportation Department is growing, not just in size, but in opportunity. With an influx in work and a growing backlog, we are looking for someone to hit the ground running. Motivated, energetic, and accountable are just a few of qualities the selected candidate should demonstrate. Some of the technical abilities we are considering include the below.

Job Requirements

• Experience acting as a Project Manager, taking projects from inception to completion
• Perform essential roadway design functions, such as setting geometric alignments, hydrology & hydraulics for drainage design, 3D roadway modeling, pavement design, erosion control plans, traffic maintenance, etc.
• Prepare detailed project quantity calculations and construction cost estimates as needed
• Work with inspection personnel to assure that contracted work accomplishes the intent of the design
• Working knowledge of MicroStation and GeoPak design software. AutoCAD, Civil3D, and InRoads experience would be beneficial
• Prior experience working with DOT entities, AASHTO standards, and plan deliverables is highly preferred Engineers at Thrasher have the ability to identify career paths as technical experts, future engineering leaders, or an emphasized business development presence. This position would allow the selected candidate to do the same.
