Exploration and Experience Development (SEED) is a 12-week
internship opportunity at Veolia for students to gain hands-on
experience in sustainability and ecological transformation. They
will work on real-world projects, receive mentorship from industry
professionals, and participate in workshops and networking events.
The program aims to nurture talent, promote innovation, and foster
meaningful connections between students and industry professionals.
Overall, the SEED program provides students with the skills,
knowledge, and connections needed to make a positive impact in the
industry. Program Dates: June 1, 2026 to August 21, 2026. Position

solutions! Responsible for providing hazardous and non-hazardous
services at multiple client sites to meet our clients’
environmental needs in accordance with State and Federal
environmental, health, and safety regulations. This position will
work in a supervised and/or independent capacity to successfully
and safely complete scheduled projects for customers.
Responsibilities may include packing, labeling, manifesting, and
shipping waste based on the contract parameters. Internships at
Veolia: Gain hands-on experience in at least one career function
from Corporate, Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing,
Operations, Sales, Supply Chain or Technology. Primary Duties
/Responsibilities: Executes tasks directly related to functional
projects and/or process improvements. Communicates issues and
roadblocks related to areas of responsibility. May assist in
research or special projects in a variety of areas in order to
fulfill business initiatives and meet business objectives. May be
asked to prepare and deliver insights and recommendations based on
analyses. Produces findings and draws conclusions from analyses.
Makes oral and written recommendations to management. Maintain a
professional image with clients by answering inquiries and
suggesting solutions to existing and potential problems. Manage
customers’ hazardous and non-hazardous waste needs per the contact.
Comply and enforce all environmental, health, and safety policies
and procedures. Ensure completion and accuracy of all US DOT/EPA
paperwork to expedite disposal of hazardous waste, as required.
Operate and maintain all equipment in a safe manner to insure
optimum efficiency and effectiveness to complete assigned projects
in a timely manner. Knowledge and understanding of contract terms
and possess the ability to follow through on assignments. Other
work related duties, as assigned. Internships are focused on
learning and exposure to fundamental business processes and
procedures. Work Environment: Environments vary by internship
function from office to field to plant. Our aim is to provide
tangible industry job experience to each intern. While we may
extend offers to some interns, there is no guarantee of a job offer
at the end of the internship. Qualifications Education / Experience
/ Background: Working towards a four year degree and you have
Junior status in a related major. Current Field of Study relating
to Chemistry, Biology, Environmental, or related field preferred
3.2 Cumulative G.P.A required Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, listening,
presentation and facilitation skills / Demonstrated ability to
build collaborative relationships Required Certification / Licenses
/ Training: Certification/Licenses/Training not generally required
