Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Winston Salem, NC Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $1,858 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position ```htmlJob Opportunity – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry RN – North Carolina Start Date: February 2, 2026 Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week; 4 weekend shifts per 6-week period Highlights: Mixed acuity unit caring for medical-surgical and progressive care patients with respiratory focus Patient ratios of 1:4-5 in a 48-bed unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support 13-week contract available; first-time travelers welcome Epic charting system with 24-hour orientation provided Extensive unit resources including Admission/Discharge nurse, Assistant Nurse Manager, Vascular Access Team, and Rapid Response Team Experience with ventilators, chest tubes, telemetry monitoring, and cardiac drips Requirements: Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience required Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license Current ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry interpretation, ventilator management, and dysrhythmia management Experience with CPAP/BiPAP and respiratory care strongly preferred Must pass EKG testing prior to start date Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only) Ability to float to similar units as needed Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic, high-acuity medical-surgical environment with a strong emphasis on respiratory care and telemetry monitoring.
